What Some Of Our Practitioners Are Doing To Help Those In Need

As thousands of New Zealanders are struggling to recover and get back 'on their feet' after the devastation caused by floods and the Cyclone Gabrielle, many of our practitioners are making up First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® blends to help their friends, families and communities deal with trauma and distress.
Below are some stories and photos from our practitioners sharing what they are doing to help where they can.
Two Young Sisters, Gaia and Shanti Aplin, Donated 150 Blends to the Hawkes Bay Community
Supporting people, horses and other animals
Gaia and Shanti Aplin (in the photos above and below), who are avid horse lovers and riders, have stepped up to support their Equestrian community, people, horses and other animals, in Hawkes Bay who have been affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
Sending blends by emergency helicopter
The two sisters made up and donated 150 bottles of First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® Trauma Support©, Crisis Support© and Disaster Support© (valued at $4500). These blends were taken by an emergency supplies helicopter to the affected area.

"A month ago we were on a family holiday in Gisborne and Napier, so even though we are now safe at home unaffected by the current events, these places are forefront in my son’s mind as we get updates.
While it is wise to limit the amount that children are visually exposed to the devastation, there is no point trying to pretend that nothing is going on - children are sentient beings and perfectly aware that things are intense right now. And as such may need emotional support right now.
