The Scorpio Child
With their indomitable will, fearlessness and determination a Scorpio child brings an intensity and power to life that cannot be missed. As a parent of two Scorpio children I have learnt through experience that they will clearly let you know how life is for them, expressing both positive and negative attitudes and behaviours openly.
The First Light flower essences No 22 Manuka, No 23 Lacebark and No 24 Poroporo are essential tools to assist these children to express their dynamic and very powerful natures out into the world. Their emotionally intense behaviours can be perceived as extreme and can paralyse those around them.
This trio of flower essences are incredible transformers of what can be challenging negative states.
When a Scorpio child expresses his or herself positively into the world, nothing can stand in the way of their success. Equipped with the ‘gift of the phoenix’ –regeneration, transformation, fearlessness and an enduring courage and strength, there is a depth to all their relating. When caught in a negative cycle of self-expression the Scorpio child can become quite destructive to themselves and the world around them.
If a child is expressing all-consuming emotions of jealousy, envy, anger, rage and temper No 22 Manuka will assist them to move beyond and eliminate these emotional patterns, putting them back into touch with their own beauty and power.
When the extreme emotional states are isolated, or are more like outbursts, No 23 Lacebark can assist them to regain their balance.
If the child has fallen into a state of blame, resentment or a broody, smoldering, ‘poor me’ syndrome, No 24 Poroporo may be the preference. Poroporo can assist the child to see life as a magical experience and remind them that everything and anything is possible.
No 22 Manuka, No 23 Lacebark and No 24 Poroporo are incredible companions for the parenting years. All three provide the support and necessary transformations for the child in a tantrum, sibling rivalry, those with bullying tendencies, bed-wetting and for teens when entering into sexual relationships. They are our allies to assist all our children with emotional discipline, enabling them to deepen their understanding about self. To deepen your own relationship with these three flower essences read about them in The Sacred Plant Medicine of Aotearoa Vol 1.
